Intersylva

Intersylva is a plains village about 2.7 km southwest of Spawn, just outside the Core of Solitude. Sighted on day 486, it was the first discovered village in this world. It’s named for its location tucked between two dark oak forests. Intersylva is connected to the Deltas and Valley Railway via a nether portal east of town.

Overview of the hilly village. About a dozen buildings are visible along with several farms, mostly closer to the camera. Dark oak forest nearly wraps around the far side of the village, though there is a gap in the center.

I’ve mostly kept to the standard village style, but added some more lighting, made the paths more navigable, etc.

A master fisherman returns home at sunset, their path fenced in preventing any falls to the cave below.
The villagers should mostly be safe from getting lost or stuck. (−2,311 W / +1,520 S), looking northeast.
A master cleric and master librarian inside of a library. A potted pink tulip sits on one of the bookshelves.
Andromache Gagel (AKA my glowstone guy) and Yama Del Rosso (AKA my Mending guy (and my Infinity guy and my glass guy)) share the Intersylva Public Library. (−2,286 W / +1,543 S), looking south.
Exterior view of the library with more pink tulips along the path. At the end of the building, many villages are gathered around several market stalls and the village bell.
The library is convenient to the villagers’ daily after‐work gathering, being centrally located at the marketplace. (−2,279 W / +1,551 S), looking northwest.

While the library is my usual destination when I visit, Intersylva is primarily a farming community, with five of its 13 villagers tending to gardens.

Three farmers working a wheat plot.
Creed Tisdel, Lamie Taing, and Hutch Beierle share a central plot while Jamesina Guligev ponders their future profession. (−2,283 W / +1,517 S), looking northeast.

The crafters seem to prefer the quiet of the forests on the village’s outskirts.

A master mason outside their shop in a dark oak forest.
Dagen Packard is Intersylva’s resident mason in the northwest corner of town, a good source of dripstone blocks as well as terracotta in either lime or light blue. Also polished diorite, I guess. (−2,322 W / +1,510 S), looking northwest.
A fletcher in their shop. A tiny piece of blue sky is visible through one window, but most of the view is blocked by dark oaks and giant mushrooms.
Master fletcher Hayzaline Min works at the south end of town and specializes in arrows of the Turtle Master. They’ve also got Power II bows, but 19 emeralds is a little steep. (−2,270 W / +1,581 S), looking southwest.
